The 95 S 58-61 raskas sinko is a 95mm heavy recoilless anti-tank gun. It is also referred to colloquially as Musti. The gun was developed in 1958 and it was given a new wheeled carriage in 1961. The weapon team consists of eight men: the team leader, gunner, loader/reserve gunner, two ammunition carriers, plus the reserve leader and two extra men armed with M72 LAWs and APILAS anti-tank weapons for close defense. The group moves through the terrain to their firing position by running and pulling the weapon behind them, and this is popularly called “walking the Musti” (Musti, Blackie in English, is a stereotypical name for a black dog in Finnish).

Finnish Missile anti-tank capability comes from the American TOW (PstOhj 83) anti-tank missile systems. The improved TOW is very effective, but large and bulky.
Though often dismounted to be deployed in concealed ambush positions, they are best transported by an all-terrain vehicle. PstOhj is the Finnish military abbreviation of Panssarintorjuntaohjus (anti-tank missile).

Anti-aircraft (Ilmatorjunta in Finnish) cover was supplied by the attachment of an ITO 78 (Ilmatorjuntaohjus or Anti-aircraft Missile 78, Soviet SA-7B Grail) missile team.
